Job Description
  Animal Supply Company, an industry leading high-growth wholesale/distribution Company with $100mm in annual sales and 250 employees headquartered in Federal Way, WA is in need of an experienced Customer Service Manager.

Under your leadership and guidance, our team of elite Customer Service Representatives will serve and delight our key customers. There is nothing more important than assuring our customers' ultimate satisfaction with the products and services we provide to them.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assure complete customer satisfaction at all times at every customer touch point.
  • Complete daily route review to assure there are no missed or past due orders.
  • Manage new customer contact(s) to assure that all have a very positive experience from initial application to receipt of first invoice and beyond.
  • Trouble shoot and resolve escalated customer situations.
  • Track and report monthly and YTD productivity of the Customer Service Department using measures of output.
  • Assure appropriate staffing levels based on budget and/or percent of sales.
  • Assure all employees including all new hires are trained and/or cross-trained appropriately and that all current staff achieves required levels of certification at appropriate time.


KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:


  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Projects confidence while working with customers.
  • Knowledgeable about company products, services and delivery.
  • Ability to manage customer service staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-pace, time-critical environment.
  • Excellent listening skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work cooperatively with others in sales, accounting, and operations to complete a project or transaction.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
  • Management/Supervisory experience is required, preferably in a customer service role.
  • Previous experience in a wholesale environment preferably with many SKU's is required.
  • Pet industry experience is highly desired.


COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • 10-key by touch and type 40+ wpm.
  • AS400 experience preferred.

Job Description
  Animal Supply Company, an industry leading high-growth wholesale/distribution Company with $100mm in annual sales and 250 employees is in need of a Long Haul Driver to deliver products from our Fife, WA warehouse to Customers from Hermiston, OR to Salt Lake City, UT. In this role you will leave on Tuesday and return on Friday.

This position is physically demanding and as our new driver you will be working in a variety of environments to include distribution centers, customer warehouses and other facilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make sure that orders are complete as loaded onto the truck.
  • Note discrepancies or problems with deliveries and discuss with manager.
  • Unload customer's orders with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to operate pallet jacks safely.
  • Must have forklift operator certification.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 -2 years commercial driving experience preferred
  • Must provide proof of a clean driving record
  • Must have current medical certification
  • Must provide copy of CDL class A certification
  • Ability to work very well independently and as part of a team required.
  • Ability to perform very well in a changing work environment

    Animal Supply Company is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Support Representative/Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic company! As our Sales Support Representative/Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for maximizing the productivity of the sales department by handling administrative and project support duties, providing excellent customer service, and acting as an intermediary between sales, other departments, and vendors.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Updates and tracks sales performance information.
  • Creates weekly and monthly commission reports and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Maintains vendor contact lists and runs vendor reports as directed.
  • Organizes and processes sales representatives' expense reports.
  • Coordinates meetings and arrangements.
  • Generates order pads, prices lists, and shelf tags as needed.
  • Provides front desk administrative assistance for the Sr. Management team.
  • Performs ad hoc special projects including research and follow-up, procedures documentation, and clerical projects.
