May 9, 2012 UPDATE: Solid Gold Voluntary Recall
Solid Gold Health Products for Pets, Inc., El Cajon, California, announced a voluntary recall of one batch of WolfCub Large Breed Puppy Food and one batch of WolfKing Large Breed Adult Dog Food, with a "Best Before" date of December 30, 2012 and batch code starting with SBG1201, after being notified by Diamond Pet Foods regarding the presence of Salmonella in Diamond’s Gaston, South Carolina facility.

May 7, 2012 UPDATE: Pet Food Voluntary Recall
Please click below to see the updated information regarding the voluntary recall of limited brands and formulas of pet foods produced at Diamond Pet Food’s facility in Gaston, South Carolina. This voluntary recall DOES NOT affect Diamond products or CANIDAE products purchased from Animal Supply Co. by our retailer partners. However, it DOES affect one WellPet formula.

VOLUNTARY RECALL:
WellPet Pet Foods - May 4, 2012
As a precautionary step, WellPet announced a voluntary recall of their 15# & 30# Super 5 Large Breed Puppy Foods with "Best By" Dates between Jan 9, 2013 & Jan 11, 2013. Animal Supply Co. has suspended both products until we have ensured our inventory does not include any of the identified products. We will provide more information as it becomes available.

Diamond has not shipped any affected products to Animal Supply Co. or the states we service.
Diamond Pet Foods today announced that it is expanding a voluntary recall to include batches of nine brands of dry pet food formulas manufactured between December 9, 2011 and April 7, 2012 due to potential Salmonella contamination.
